NEW LITTLE DRAGON ALBUM OUT THIS SPRING!

You may be familiar with their collaborations on The Gorrillaz’, Plastic Beach on the awesome tracks Empire Ants and To Binge, where I’m sure you would agree that the very soul of the song rests on Yukimi Nagano’s amazing voice.

The Swedish neo-soul/electronic band has been one of my faves for a while now, and they are releasing a new album, RITUAL UNION on the 12th of July. You may have caught them performing the album title song, Ritual Union on Fallon this past week (as seen above). It is a dope tune which makes us all very excited for the upcoming album I’m sure. And for all you people dealing with the snow, and for all of you familiar with their previous two albums, I say there’s no better way to welcome the spring than with a brand new album from a band as good as this.

To side track a little, you might also want to check out the cutest elementary school chorus, PS22 sing Little Dragon’s, Twice, with Little Dragon, which was pointed out to me via the Gorilla VS. Bear blog earlier today. The PS22 Chorus is from Public School 22 in Graniteville, Staten Island. These kiddies have been knows to sing some awesome renditions of some very cool tunes, bound to leave you with goose bumps. Another one of my favorite PS22 covers would have to be Ariel Pink’s Round and Round which you pretty much have to check out if you liked the previous tune.
